Like so many families involved with Kawasaki Disease, Ira and his wife Bobbie became acquainted with KD when their son Ethan was diagnosed nearly 4 years ago. “Because it is still a rather obscure disease in the medical field and it was difficult to get answers to our questions”. That feeling of helplessness is what let Ira and his wife to get involved in order to advance the cause.

In March of 2011, Ira’s company, VBConfidential created the Kawasaki Disease Fund’s new and improved website. “The goal in creating this new website was to streamline valuable resources for families seeking information, answers and support”.

Ira holds a B.S. from The Ohio State University in Chemical Engineering and Molecular Genetics. He is a member of the Dublin AM Rotary Club, and Paul Harris Fellow. His interest is anything to do with technology, and weather permitted riding his motorcycle.
