2008 Sponsor Opportunities

The Kawasaki Disease Fund benefiting Children’s Memorial Hospital of Chicago, a volunteer based not-for-profit organization, invites you to sponsor our KD Fund For Heart’s Sake Family Day/Walk.  The walk will take place on Sunday, October 5^th at The Oakbrook Park District. 

Why You Should Sponsor Our Walk

 ·          Kawasaki Disease (KD) is the leading cause of acquired heart disease in children.

 ·          Experts estimate that 5,000 to 10,000 children in the U.S. are diagnosed with KD each year.

 ·          There is no test and KD is often confused with other less severe illnesses.

 ·          The cause of KD is unknown.

 ·          Any child can get KD regardless of ethnic or socio-economic background.

 ·          If not detected and treated in time it can result in serious heart damage or death.

We need your help to continue to raise awareness about these striking facts and also to help in raising funds that will go directly towards research for Kawasaki Disease at Children’s Memorial Hospital of Chicago.

2008 Sponsorship Levels and Benefits

Platinum Sponsor ($10,000 and above)

• 10 free walk registrations;
• Ability to provide information/giveaways to walkers on sponsor table;
• Acknowledgement as a Platinum Sponsor (logo) on t-shirts given to walkers at event;
• Logo on the sponsor signage displayed at the event;
• Company displayed on KD Fund website; and
• Member of the Children’s Memorial Foundation Circle of Corporate Champions, Bronze level.  Membership includes recognition on Children’s Memorial website (53,000 visits per month) and on the Children’s Memorial donor wall located in the Hospital lobby.

Gold Sponsor ($5,000 and above)

• 5 free walk registrations;
• Acknowledgement as a Gold Sponsor (logo) on the t-shirts given to walkers at the event;
• Logo on the sponsor signage displayed at the event;
• Ability to provide information/giveaways to walkers on the sponsor table; and
• Company displayed on KD Fund website

Silver Sponsor ($1,000 and above)

• 2 free walk registrations;
• Acknowledgement as a Silver Sponsor (logo) on the t-shirts given to walkers at the event;
• Logo on the sponsor signage displayed at the event;
• Ability to provide information/giveaways to walkers on the sponsor table; and
• Company displayed on the KD Fund website

Bronze Sponsor ($350 and above)

• Company name listed on the signage displayed at the event; and
• Ability to provide information/giveaways to walkers on the sponsor table

All proceeds raised from this event will go to The Kawasaki Disease Fund benefiting Children’s Memorial Hospital of  Chicago to help in research and early detection of this disease.
